The Books I Read in 2023
For some reason the year 2023 hasn't been the best year for reading and it took me quite some time to get started and get into the flow. Eventually I managed, but it took some took some time. That being said I managed to finish some books at the least. more
I hate that I can't decide on anything...
Seriously, the moment there are two (or more) options available I am unable to decide which one to use. In the past there had been text-editors, note-taking-apps, mono-spaced fonts, blogging-platforms... more
Feedbin again
I stopped using Feedbin maybe two years ago, and for whatever reason it came back on my radar the other day. I decided to give it a go again and quickly wondered why I stopped using it in the first pl... more

A few more pics from Schloss Schwerin
Now that I’m not living in Germany for twenty years anymore, it seemed like a good enough of an excuse to look at some sights that I never ever new existed on this visit. The first one had been the ca... more
Weeknotes - Yet another Vacation Edition
I wrote my last entry in the weeknotes series at the end of my last vacation, and now I am already back in my next vacation. No, I don't have vacation all the time, but it seems that is the only time I am in the mood to write - for the blog at the least. more
About the Domain
A few years ago I have made a major domain-purge and got rid of every domain that I had been paying-for, and never used (there should be a name for that I guess) in order to create a bit more clarity... more
Weeknotes - End of Vacation Edition
The end of the vacation and the beginning of the school-year started with a somewhat appropriate, yet unwelcome change of weather and we faced somewhat heavy thunderstorms almost on a daily basis. On some weird level this is fun, but it makes riding on my finally fixed bike rather annoying. more
The 'Hello World' Edition
The summer-vacation is slowly coming to an end and I'm equally slowly I try to get things up and running again and somehow get into a back-to-work attitude. more

My upcoming Reading List - A plan
I have a "problem": I get quickly obsessive about things in general and additionally tend to be a completionist. When I like something, I really "like" it and have to read/watch/listen/own everything about it. Not always, sure, but often enough. more
While cleaning some folders
While cleaning some folders I ran into to some design drafts that I did for the header of my "old" blog alongside with the some logo design. Sadly this one has the "real" fonts missing, but still it i... more

I'm almost there

It's the first one this year! I have been waiting for the pen to arrive and today my new Kaweco Student Demonstrator arrived, and it is gorgeous. more
New Year, New Journal Setup
I'm using the Bullet Journal Method for task-management now in the third year and aside two attempts of trying digital solutions such as orgmode and Todoist (each in turn lasted exactly a month)... more
Weeknotes #14
Looking back at the weeks since my last Weeknotes it is safe to say that at the least on this blog plenty of things have happened, even if that that might not be obvious on first sight. more
Weeknotes #13
I missed the obviously best opportunity to publish the 13th edition of the Weeknotes on Halloween, but at least it is still in the ballpark. more
Weeknotes #12
It now little more that a year since the last post in this category. Is it time to stop calling them Weeknotes? more
